Overall: Is Charmdate.com a Scam or Trusted Site?
Most of the CharmDate.com reviews aren’t pleasing a lot. Most of the current and past customers are complaining of poor services or being ripped off. These reviews are from people who have tried the site before. Thus, you should never ignore them. That being said, it isn’t the best site you would want to join.
CharmDate is all about money. Getting their hands on YOUR money. The women encourage communication because I guess they are on a commission. The services are expensive and chatting or video streaming is very slow and patchy. I think this is done on purpose to suck more credits out of you.I don't trust any Chinese when it comes to privacy and stealing of private information is an every day occurrence for them. Remember that your information will be recorded by the Communist party just in case it can be used against you. That's the way Chinese work.
Bad video quality. But before that, this person had good quality. I think that the problem is in the site and not in the streamer’s video camera. I asked for better quality and wrote to customer support. Got an answer - this is not their fault, but the user's problem.
I agree that this is not a reputable site. First, I was amazed that the site iteself gives women access to personal information that other sites do not. The first time I saw a woman use my last name I was shocked. When i asked the administrators they replied it helped the women get to know me. What BS. They don't need to disclose personal identifying info to get to know me.Second the conversations are scripted That's pretty obvious when you see: "Hi [Name here]. I just read your profile and want to get to know you."My last day on the site was when two women used the exact same script and neither used my name but had the [Name here] text.It is further obvious as you see the same woman using the same message that is filled with the exact same typos, grammar errors and incorrect punctuation. Not critical of any of them by themselves. But when it is the exact same errors over and over and over, that's something different.This is less of a Dating site and more of a Chat site.
This company is under investigation for the 4th time. Marriage Fraud this time cover your 6 guys and don't open your wallet.
Update to my review of last week. Information on Marriage Scams has been passed on to Homeland. ICE should have it and an investigation started. This is not the first time this platform and company have been found to function illegitimately
These "women" are just sending out messages. They will tell you they liked your profile. If they read my profile they wouldn't have contacted me as they were younger than I specified. I am part Ukrainian and I am disappointed at the sexual requests from women I never ever spoke to. Complaints to the Administration are useless as their typical answer is I don't understand their culture. I understand their cultures very well as My job assigned me the former Soviet Union Republics because of my expertise as a Computer Engineer specializing in Communications and my cultural background. If you choose not to answer them you are playing games or are scared. To sum it up don't waste your time or money.
The local offices often take unused profiles within the district area of that office. They then assume that profile ownership and use it as if it was there own profile connecting to men and getting men to spend money on talking and writing to who they believe is that pictured person owner in that profile. As my lady and I stage a fight to break up and we knew how to reach each other away from the charmdate site. She told them she was leaving and to remove her profile and they said they would do so at the end of the billing cycle. Which was in 4 months and they asked her for permission to use her profile and she gave them permission. While on the site they filed for renewal 3 years time since they were suppose to remove it and kept suckering men to spend money talking and chatting and writing to who they thought was my girl. Well my girl had a accident one winter and was hurt badly and in the Hospital and lost her mobile phone and had no way to let me know. then I got a message from the site after I taken a chance an wrote her one day. and she convinced me it was her and it was the site office and I busted them doing this. Then they threatened her and made her write me and send me a photo holding a note or go to jail and be fined and she and I made them remove her page. after that. like the were suppose to in the first place. So yes I learned they have done this stunt many times and were shut down in and lost licenses to do this business before 4 times and they still hire the same offices in cities to run bad offices and still cheat men out of money. they set of cupid dates and when they arrive for the date they say that the lady had an emergency and had to leave the country of course no refund policy on those trips. They made a bundle and they have hookers worker for them and they make them them fill in to offer a alternate thing for the men while on the trip and make them happy????????? haha suckers
I would like to add more emotional pictures to the chat. I do not know how to express my emotions in writing. Since childhood, I have been withdrawn and shy. Probably for this reason I am still not married at 34. Animated pictures help me communicate with girls and it is easier for me. It is an okay website for me, and I can even say that it is better than other similar sites. However, it is extremely expensive, which I think is so that only genuine males join this website. Also, I found that as soon as I joined the site, I was flooded by messages from numerous ladies, who were admiring me, although I had not even put a profile picture. All this made me to be extra cautious, and in these cases you just need to trust your instincts. Except this the site has been good overall, and I have met some really wonderful females on this site, and am looking forward to meet them and their families personally in Ukraine
Too many profiles appear when searching for matches which reduces efficiency of finding a partner or just makes the whole process take much longer than usual. I would prefer if there were membership subscriptions instead of buying credits to message. By the way, the credits are expensive in the case of maintaining constant messaging.

Not only is putting personal details a probable risk to an individual yet the costs are just unreasonable as compared to other sites of this standard.
