The site itself, however, is not easy to navigate and UDate.com reviews describe it as inflexible and expensive for what is offered, especially when no refunds are provided if you are not happy with the service.
Another issue is that many people set up the free profile to look at russian women dating or who else is on the site and do not take it further, meaning that members spend time talking to people who do not have any intention of forming long-term relationships. This could lead to UDate.com members being caught in a scam, which seems to have been the case based on some reviews.
It's the biggest ripoff you will find. They you monthly subscription but everything still cost money. Do not use it, you will just waist your money from nothing.
I spent 3 weeks on here and had some great connections. However, every single one stop with meeting anyone, exchanging numbers etc.....You will get "it's not safe" from every single member if you choose to follow thru with it. I feel worse now then when I joined knowing none of it is real. This is indeed a scam, the first thing you will notice is broken English texts from supposedly highly educated women. At first you dismiss it as they drag you in, but then it keeps happening almost at times felt like you are talking to different people. It has been suggested robot returns which makes sense since many times the responses don't align with what you said. Responses are guaranteed if you are talking to a paid user. Any time day or night. Easy tell when you were talking to them at 2 AM and they respond again at 6AM. Many hits in the middle of the night, verifying a different time zone completely not the girl next door. Also, pay attention to the pics, if they look like models, well it is too good to be true. Anyways, hope this helps someone else from wasting a ton of money and energy on at least good conversation but you will never meet anyone, you will never get them off the app to talk for free. Spending $0.65 cents to $ 1.50 per text is insane robbery, Notice every single one of the gals that hit you up have flames next to their name,,,,,,those are the scammers and pay per text gals. Ones without are like you and me, looking for an honest relationship. This company overall may have had good intentions but ultimately an elaborate scam on ultimate disappointment.

This is nothing more than a scam, they charge you for coins and then you get flooded with all these women. All of them have college degrees, or are doctors, that in it self is fake. You keep loading coins and it gets costly very very quickly. Also this company is based in China, if I knew that I would never have signed on. This is the biggest scam there is, in fact I would not be surprised if you are dealing with men and not women.

It's a scam and a rip off. I payed for a whole month subscription and only got to chat with one person with three replies. Then they charge you to continue to chat. I'm very displeased

If you are looking for beautiful and smart girls from European countries then visit site. I love traveling and Europe is still not completely circled by me. I meet girls and many of them are happy to show me the sights of their cities. The site is a great place not only to search for new relationships but also to find new friends.
Udate is a SCAM!!! I went through the registration process and it directed me to the site Our Time. That in itself points to a scam. Plus the fact that there are tons of beautiful russian women and NO UGLY GIRLS tells you that is is 150% scam. Point number 3 is that they charge you per letter and not unlimited use of features for one monthly price. There are other sites like this, including Hot Russian Brides and Dream singles. You can easily spend in excess of $100 dollars per month on these babes who are not real. Again, there are now ugly women on these sites. And you can barely finish your profiles before you get 12 emails. This is a sure fire sign of a scam. The website pays women to lure men into writing them and each girl gets a percentage of the money the man spends. DO NOT BELIEVE THESE FAKE GIRLS. Hell, 10 bucks says it's a man on the other end anyway. Don't believe them. I give the site a -10 (that's negative 10). Like I said the registration process did not even take me to the site, it redirected me to "Our Time", another scam site.
I don’t think the site is that bad but its not that great neither. It’s not the easiest site to navigate, but since I’m used to dealing with complicated stuff I’ve managed to work my way around it. The main complaint that I have is that the women on the site are not that attractive, I’m not saying I’m the most handsome man in the world, but I know what I like when I see it and so far I have not seen it on this site and I have been signed up for over a month. I have given it long enough, and now I think I will try another site to see if I have better luck because this just doesn’t seem to be working out for me.

How can you decide who you want to talk to if there is nothing to look at? Believe me, it is a fake website. Nothing is good about this site. The navigation, graphic everything of this site is poor, and the site takes forever to load. The customer service is also of no help. The site can look okay for female members, as it has a huge pool of males, but, there are not many options for males. I question the authenticity of this site. It seems good and overall easy to sign up to. But, why can I not create and save my own passowrd? I don't think there is any safety in not being able to have full custody over your own password. This security risk needs to be removed and give users freedom to create own passwords that we can actually remember.
considering the cost of the site and the very few free features, a refund option should be put to place. If there are no refunds for members who have signed up for membership and choose to not continue then the site may come across as a scam. Even if the refund is minimal as compared to the cost paid, it will still be highly appreciated.
