Overall: is LoveMe.com a Scam or Trusted Site?
Our research proved that there are too many LoveMe.com scam reports available on the web. The site has a large number of fake profiles. In the LoveMe.com reviews we have come across, reviewers have confessed that the dating site hires people to reply to messages. They use these fake message replies to rip people off their money since every time you send or receive a message, you have to pay. The site includes too many hidden charges which make it hard for people to keep up with the costs.
If you have an issue you need the customer support department to address, it will be hard for you to get a reply from them. For all these reasons, we wouldn’t advise anyone to consider trusting LoveMe.com. This is a scam site which will take advantage of your need to find an international romantic partner to rip you off your hard-earned cash.
As a former client of their service, I have to disagree with a lot of the negative reviews. My personal experience with this company has been nothing less than amazing. I truly think of their team every day and can’t thank all of them enough for what they have done for me. I had no idea what I was getting into when I traveled abroad but I couldn’t have come to a better conclusion. Irina an I are very happy together. We haven’t rung each other’s neck yet so it’s working. Thank you to all their staff in this episode of my ever changing life.
I started using this site around 2018 with a very cautious outlook because I have never used a site like this to meet women. The pay model of being charged to send & receive messages, photos, gifts was a worry for me but I decided to give it a try but with a set amount. The strategy that I implied was getting the girls' actual phone number as quickly as possible, avoid paying for pictures since most ladies have 5 or more on their profile already, and never buy anyone a gift. I would start with an intro of myself that was very lengthy stating my background and what I am looking for. After the second or third letter I would ask for their number. If I felt the girl was stalling or not willing to go back to agency to release their information. I would kindly let them know that I will stop communication at this point, because communicating here is not something I want to continue, because it is expensive and limits our interaction. Most would comply with my request and allow the agency to send me their number. Every single woman that I acquired a number from was the actual person I was communicating with from the site. However, the bad that I encountered was some of the women would ask for money within the first few weeks of speaking with them on the phone. The site promoted that these women are employed and self sufficient and don't need a man for money. Most of the women I encountered were not employed or worked very little, so that was a little misleading. I focused solely on women from Costa Rica and Colombia and I actually met these women in person from both countries and even asked them if they were the ones responding to me and they showed me that they were the ones responding. They did not receive any compensation for being on the site. I met three women in person from the site and spoke to maybe 8-10 women on the phone, with maybe 5 of them asking me for money before I met them or established anything which is why I never met them in person but I did speak with them through facetime and whatsapp. I can prove all these situations as I still have the messages with each lady that I encountered. My overall experience has been good and I always was reimbursed if I responded to a lady and they showed no interest or actually told me they weren't interested. Many times I would contact support and they would refund me my 9.99. I never tried to go for a woman that was out of my league or look like she was a model. There are plenty of beautiful women are the site that you can see are clearly looking for love and you see the models that are most definitely there to scam, particularly Russia and Ukraine. Use your intelligence and use the site properly and you can avoid a lot of these situations that you are reading about. No site can rid all bad profiles but this is a overall review of my time on the site. Now I haven't used the site since the pandemic started because I feel that alot these sites would revert to shady business tactics to generate revenue since a lot was lost since they could not hold romantic tours as they normally do. When I used the site I ran into no problems at all, but I would be hesistant to use it now until things are back to normal.
There appears to be credence in some of the negative reviews. Here is a reply I received from a young lady who supposedly sent me an introduction letter: Yesica (#186287) 10 Apr 2021, 15:39Moring!RickyGood morningThank you for answering my letter. I definitely see that you are a pretty good man with a huge heart, however I believe that these letters are sent in a massive way so that I can meet someone faster ... but actually I am looking for a man a little older than my age. .. I'm sure you will find the woman you are looking for!A hug and success! YesicaI appreciate the response from the young lady. She is a kind person and maybe has a big heart but she does know what she wants. I started also to respond to those introduction letters explaining my non-interest and some have turned into "but give me a chance and blah blah". Well, I admit I am in over my head and need to move on to socializing locally and hope to stumble my way through meeting the right person. Thanks.
Honestly, the positive reviews here are planted by Loveme. Back in 1998 I met a lovely woman on that site and we met in France. It was great, we even planned to get married. That was the plan, until after France she started asking for money to support her family, Money for school, money, well, you get it. So, I had her background checked by a friend who knew some people in Moscow. Turned out, she is married, her husband was her handler. Why? because it brought him money. She even tried to sell my film scripts to several studios that she stole from my laptop. Dumped her, tried again. I met a second woman on loveme, and immediately knew I was being played for money. She carefully manipulated me, trying to get $500K, yes really, to support her family. I only met her once in Kiev and knew the entire meeting was to assess my wealth because I caught her roaming through my wallet, passport, laptop. She asked me a lot of wealth questions. I know better than to share my financial status with someone I barely know. The next morning I left Ukraine without telling her because I felt she was trouble in the large, wrong way. When I was coming home, I stopped in London and found out my credit cards had been copied, she was trying to use them. So, yeah, lots of serious problems. After I was home, I noticed the site suddenly had USA based women as well. Short story, every USA based woman was in it for money, period and they let you know during the "arranged meeting $450.00 BTW" they want to be taken care of $$$. The women I met in Los Angeles might as well been by the hour because they wanted shopping sprees, pay their rent, a car. I gave up after that last experience. The lesson learned, the tour is a money maker, and no, the women are not the model pictures on the site. Very normal everyday women. Be careful, keep your eyes open. And yes, customer service is a serious joke. They even try to twist it around and tell you it's your fault.
They have an obvious algorithm in place of women:I clicked on some "profiles" to check them out, and as soon as the next day, I got "intro letters" to open from the profiles I clicked on. For a price, of course.Scam. Scam. Scam. Also, every single profile looks like it was written by the same person, no matter who, no matter which country.
They currently have profiles of females members that are living in a another country then the country posted on their profiles ... “foreign ladies“, lol. Also FYI some of them are in serious long term relationships.Anyone can make a free fake profile and join any dating sites because they don’t check for authenticity of the person signing up especially when it’s FREE for the females. These “Foreign ladies” get Free vacations, Free gifts, money etc from the paying guys. What do they have to lose?. Why don’t you remove the fake/scammers profiles? or is to hard for you to figure out which ones they are?. If you are going to charge people money then make sure the posted profiles on YOUR dating sites are 100% authenticated and real or you and the fakes/scammers should be charged and convicted for FRAUD.Guys always do a full background check on these ladies.
I think there is a reason some of you are online complaining instead of being out in the world meeting women. Please note, this ain't attractive, especially to women. I have been on several tours with AFA and have nothing but good things to say about them. I met my wife on one of their tours. A lot of you guys on here have you-know-what coming out of your ears. It says right on the fricking website that the letters go through the staff who help with translation assistance! You really think the staff is going to allow letters from the ladies that ask for money and all this crap? Do you think they want to cut off their own nose like that? You clearly haven't even used the service. The only way they could EVER hit you up for money is if you go meet them, which you clearly didn't do and are just trolling online. Get a life or find something more productive to do. Not saying the women are perfect, and there is definitely some differences between pictures on a website and real life, but if you had ever actually sent a letter, you would know perverted stuff and begging for money won't be passed along. Get a clue!
Interrupted post. This company is tailored for wealthy patrons such as the 5 star review Nicholas. Ukraine is a very money driven country. And if you are black this is not a very good place for you to visit unless you have the wealth of the upper class American. This is for the "Money is no object crowd." However, if you are determined beyond reason to see for yourself, the show up with no less than $3,000 to $5,000 USD in addition to hotel and flight prices. If your lady doesn't speak much English you will see why I suggested this amount. Hope this helps someone else.
This site used to be legit . You used to be able to purchase the women’s email addresses and I had much success with this . I’m not sure at what point they stopped letting you buy the email address, but this is when the big scam started ! Ten dollars to send an email then ten dollars to open it ! Crazy ! Then as other men stated , you request their email or phone number and they never send it to you ,but they keep sending you $10 emails to open . How do none of these gals send you their phone number or email address? None ?? Scam! The other thing that’s a huge red flag scam is when you write them they never answer any of your questions about anything . It’s like they didn’t even read the email you sent . You get emails that your reading and just shaking your head like what the hell is she talking about !! Stay away from this site ! Their single tours may be real but their letter system for meeting women is a total scam !!
Majority of guys on here are not stupid it's good to see you can see scan straight away ,,, this website it just complete scanner keep well away
Many fake woman. They are con men that prey on lonely men looking to find their 2nd half. You will be wasting your money if you pay to talk with these women.
I would like to comment something very positive in my experience about AFA(loveme.com). I'm self employed...have several businesses in the service industry --- so, you could say I'm probably savvy. So...back in April, I began researching AFA/Loveme.com. I read lots and lots of reviews...some neutral, some bad...and even a great deal of very positive stuff....and many other services out there --- I think a lot of people don't know(which I now do), that in the late 90s, a scumbag did go overseas and met a lady, brought her back here, and murdered her...so our government, worked with the people in the business at that time, and helped develop what's called IMBRA(International Marriage Broker Regulation Act of 2005)...I didn't have a clue either...but...basically, it says that the agencies make the ladies sign an agreement, that they will not give out their contact information until they've met the guy in person and sign their IMBRA form...in turn, they will get a very basic amount of history on each guy...so they can make an informed decision. So...I started out...filtering through the mountains of girls, finding what I'm looking for --- in the process, you learn right away...there are a lot of women overseas, who don't really have a clue about AMERICA, only the freedom part. But...I'm not very serious, and have skyped and had phone calls with 5 out of the 29 on my favorites list. Yes, I pay incoming, and outgoing...and yes, their system is secure...and yes, they answer the phone...as I call a few times a week....questions, questions, questions...wow the culture overseas is sooo different --- one thing to note...guys, I found out about a New Zealand'er named Stryker, who has developed a free site, with over 40 videos on YouTube, who HAS been overseas, and who has used AFA/Loveme.com extensively...a lot like I have now...Let's face it fellas, you're not going to fall in love with the first girl...but...if you're serious...and you're thorough, and you find an organization that answers the phone everyday...you do have a better chance at it. For me though...I am choosing their executive package...it's up at $15k...but, they take a lot more time with you, and you fly down to their office in Chicago or Phx and spend the day with them...and then there's a lot more effort spent helping you understand the girls...meaning an actual girl from the area where you're looking will be on the phone/Skype/In person...to pick up the subtle nuances...that we guys(IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE, don't pick up)...for me...that money is well spent!!***NEVER ANY BILLING ISSUES>>>JUST STRAIGHTFORWARD...they do what they say...and so far...every single woman I've called or skyped has been real all the way --- I'm happy...and the five I've really developed something strong with...they seem to be really the types I am exposed to here...mover and shaker types. Honestly, if you're looking seriously to marry THE RIGHT ONE...loveme,com(which is A Foreign Affair), has a package for you...and honestly...a $3500(or 5600 for two weeks) week overseas, where they stay with you most of the time...pick you up at the airport...and really great socials...and interpreters...NOT A BAD BUY!!
this website was good, I met several women. I paid for their email address and we started chatting right away. about three years ago they changed and makes you pay to send and open emails from the girls. I gave 5 girls my email and explained I can not afford to pay each time I messgae them and pay agian to open thier message. if they wanted to chat send to my email address. But they keep sending messages through the pay service which shows this is a scam. girls their know money is tight and I doubt they pay anything to send messages. the only way they sending meesages is they get kick backs which i doubt because they are not going to risk losing a man over 5.00 usd. Its probably a person writing on behalf of the girls and once you pay a certain amount they will give you the girls info. which means all your message will be in vain. today I got 5 respnces from 5 girls I sent messages last night. Somehow all the girls resonded to me in a 10 min time frame. In the past I knew plenty people meet girls now I wouldnot recommed using ths site, In the past I talked to the owner about his experience bcs he married a lady from another country The offfice is in phoenix. they were helpful getting me started and the process was easy and trustworthy, I started using them back in 2000 when they were legit now this site is a rip off.
loveme.com is scam - this is 2019- why should letters/emails still be used- if the girl cant get online and videochat then noway you can tell who your writing to.could be a man employie or 50yrs old lady- if you cant see them on cam then f..k them
If this site is so bad and a fake! Then how is the law letting them stay online? Did anyone report this site to the FBI? I don't understand this!
It's true. Loveme.com will not allow you to get the contact info of the woman--assuming the woman is even real. If she is, boy, her english is near college level, and yet, on the video, she can barely form a sentence... Loveme.com probably has rented a closet in the Philippines with a bunch of ugly old men responding to letters. I called Loveme.com up in Arizona, and asked them to explain how the lady's english could be so much improved compared to the video sample--the russian lady's answer was, "Oh, you can call them! Why? so you can get more cash out of me for the privilege of taking to the other closet--the one with the ugly old ladies this time, posing as the girl you're interested in? No thanks. Loveme.com is screwing over the client, and the girl, who, most likely, isn't really being exposed
I, like other reviewers here, am very skeptical of this website. I think a big percentage of the girls on here are fake and probably paid by the website to lure lonely old men into their trap and then extract as much money as they can from the men. Every time I have become interested in a girl, they all say age is just a number and it doesn't matter. I am 45, and when I find that a 22 year old girl says she is interested in me I immediately become skeptical. The Russians are the worst. They all look like hookers and only want your money. I would stay away from this site. I think it's a huge scam. Maybe the Chinese girls are more authentic. Most of them look very sweet and innocent. They don't look like the Russian hookers, but I still don't trust any of them. Besides, this website is way too expensive.
They don’t allow me to get the phone number or address of the lady I am interested in. They just want me to continue paying $10 every time I read her letter and 10 times every time I send her a letter. I also noticed that the person who is responding may not be the person I am interested but it sounded weird so I decided to completely delete the website of my computer.
Blood Sucker ... that's exactly the profile I made in Loveme.com and immediately I got tons of love letters at 10 usd each ( plus3.50$ per photo) from beautiful women that said they had fallen in love with Blood Sucker, me posting a picture of a ninety year old man with a walking stick on the arm of a 6 foot 2 tall blond model...You have to be crazy to believe in this crap
I have known for quite a while that sites like this one, use pictures of fake women and fake emails but they kinda suck at what they do although quite amusing for me to watch. When I received an introduction leading with: " Well, well,{name], I am giving up! Last chance to jump at the leaving "train"> hah =)" ... CLEARLY, those are pre-written and those scammers only need to put in the name of a potential sucker. I wrote the site to complain about what was obviously pre-written messages and this is what they answered with: "Dear,The letters you are receiving are introduction letters; That means, messages writing by the ladies but they are sent to all of the clients that match the lady's preferences such as age range, Marital status, etc. It’s a matching system and when lady has no problem with age difference or others, the letters are sent to all of the clients."That proves, without any doubt, that they are the lowest form of crooks. They prey on men by sending thousands of emails to unsuspecting suckers willing to spend hard earned money chatting with just about anyone including other men, without the consent of the women in the pictures. loveme.com are crooks...nothing more! More proof? Try to find the most beautiful women they have on their site on the videos in Ukraine. You will not find a single one of them. Furthermore, once you send out messages to one of them, check them out at victoriahearts.com. Same women but they will not recognize you. About their socials, all paid for young women who have ZERO interest in you. They want to be wined and dined at the best restaurants and hope you will take them shopping. Once your gone, that's it! Wake up, people! Loveme.com is just another scamming site.
In the time that have check out this site and used it, it did not please me at all. In my opinion, the support team is quite discouraging because it is slow and also the information is very scant. Additionally, you can hardly trust who you find there. In my case, I saw girls that share the same picture but have different names. On other occasions, these girls had similar names, and in two profiles. I got really confused because I was wondering whether they put up ne profile after moving. Or is it that they decided to up another profile because they could not get good results? I have also tried tracking several girls that appear and disappear. I tend to think that the legit ones do not stay in the site for long. I asked the support team about the girls’ disappearance form the sight over time but got no answer. When they cannot verify about them getting married, they say they refused to pay dues. It’s a weird site generally.
The customer support is terribly hopeless. I had an indication that all my messages were replied by some guy, and every time we exchanged the mails, it appeared that the person had no idea about what the last was mail about. I was told a new story in every mail. And, when I contacted the customer support regarding this issue there was no response from their side. I wanted to know how their system worked, but they chose to ignore my mails.
I met two women on this website, both of whom refused to give me their mobile numbers. They insisted that we talk only on emails, and, sending an email every time require me to pay $10…further to read their email, I was required to pay $10. We were having good talks on the emails, however, it was not going any further. It seemed like thy never wanted me to stop sending emails. And, at a time I was not even sure about who was on the other side of the screen. I mean there is a possibility that a man was replying to all my messages.
I got into a big scam. This wife scammed me a big way, and now even I am ashamed to admit it….it was like I was hypnotized. However, I will tell my story, because I don’t want others to be scammed on this site. Sometime back I came in contact with a girl named Tatanya on this site. She was extremely attractive, and it was love at first site for me. We started talking, and, one day she told me about her ill grandmother, but, refused my help, when I offered. I was impressed, and we continued talking. Then, one day she told how she wants to meet me, but doesn’t have enough money for air travel. Now, even I was planning to meet her, but was unable to do so, because of my work commitments, so I agreed to send her money for tickets, and, visa. She thanked me profusely, but on the next day her account was deleted, she had just vanished from life, and I was not able to contact her anymore. Now, I don’t know what to do, I feel stupid for trusting a stranger, and, have resolved to never visit such dating sites.
In the year 2016, I had met a Russian girl on this website. She was tall, slim, and just gorgeous. We started talking, and, it appeared that she was interested in me. Being an average looking man, I was never sure about why she was even interested in talking to me, as she was way out of my league. But, still we continued our conversation. And, soon our conservations turned sexual….in the emails she used to explain what she wanted to do to me…and, it was really hot. One day she told me a story about how she was in debts, and wanted money. I sensed something fishy, and, stopped talking to her. I was sad, but I just didn’t trust her enough to transfer the money. Now, after reading the reviews of this website, I feel that I made a right decision, and perhaps there was no woman, and, I was just talking to a man who was not new in looting money from the Americans.
I joined this site, because I have a thing for foreign girls. And, wanted to date someone, and even marry someone foreign. And, as this site was really cheap, so I didn’t even think twice before joining this site. However, this turned out to be a huge mistake, I wanted to be in a relationship, and never thought that I would have to meet the girl, and, travelling was not at all possible for me. And, neither did I want to transfer the money to some stranger, because she said that she wanted to come, and meet me. This led in a very difficult situation, as now I understand that it is very difficult to be in a relationship, without meeting the person. And, I never thought about the future. This resulted in all my relationship being short term, and, ending when I refused to meet the girl.
