Jdate.com is disappointing beyond your imagination. I have used other dating services in the past. As their subscription prices continually reduce, the Jdate.com’s just keeps on hiking for no apparent reason. The site also seems to be using faces of people that do not even use the site. Their customer service is worse than all other sites because the personnel are less attentive to users. Are they even old enough to deal with such matters? Because they act and sound like teenagers; probably 16 to 17 years. If there are no serious adults to speak with, how will proper things get done? Jdate.com is wastage of time and money.
In a time when most of the dating sites are decreasing their prices, and are trying to provide the best customer support, Jdate comes and increases the prices, and makes it just double. Is the site really worth it? NO WAY! Their customer support sucks really big time. I did not get any matches from them. They have profiles which are 5 years old, and are just active now, but they just don’t care. And, after I requested them to stop charging me, and cancel my registration, they simply ignored my request, and kept me on auto renewal. Hey don’t even have good filters, the people that I got were some 3,000 miles from me. Stay away from this site!
The secret admirer feature is just another fancy way to allow stalkers and scammers to keep an eye on you. Please this feature is not necessary and should be removed. Dear Customer Service please make a stronger effort to respond to our complaints or plea for assistance. The site is not as easy to understand and use so a little help when needed would be good.
Even if the site does offer a questionnaire before completing profile. I do still feel that many individuals lie about their faith and yes, commitment to their faith. With this said, after chatting with someone for a while only to realize that they are not actually Jewish is very disturbing emotionally. We are looking for strictly Jewish partners.
